Hey people, what have you all been up to during CNY? I was off only till Tuesday and back to work on Wednesday. Visited family and friends as usual on the first two days and just relaxed on Tuesday. Don't know why but I've been feeling really really exhausted recently and mentally drained.
I've run a little last Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and yesterday. Most runs were short 6k runs, but when I stepped on the weighing machine last night and it showed I had put on over 2kg in one month, I put on my shoes at 11.30pm and ran 10k. Purposely stashed my watch in the drawer because if I had monitored my speed, I would have given up before completing.
I am contemplating runing/jogging 20k tomorrow morning, but my wife's family are coming over tonight and it could be a late night. But if I don't do it, there might not be more chances for long runs before KLIM as I leave for JoBurg tomorrow night for a 10 day conference. So I might just drag myself out of bed (Ya right DK!).

I'm back!
Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've even come to my blog let alone update it. Finally after 8 weeks of working daily till midnight or 1am I can sit back and relax! I just submitted my final paper for what is considered one of the hardest module in my masters programme, and I'm pretty happy with it.
Now it's time for CNY celebrations, yes!! But I must not forget to get back into my running shoes since I've not run at all for the past two weeks. Speaking about running, my beloved Nikes have to be retired, I just realised that one part of the sole has actually torn off, it must have happenned during the GE30k.
So looks like I need to use my NB until I find the time to get another pair. I will not rush into it this time, must be sure that it will be a pair that works for me. Top of the list is the Saucony Trigon 4 which I need to try. So anyway, here's wishing all of you a very happy CNY, Xin Nien Kwai Ler!
